Welcome to my website. My name is Szymon Rudowski (you can just call me Simon 🙂 ) and I’m an active tournament chess player, organizer and instructor. I’ve been teaching chess in the New York area for groups and individual students since 2012. In March 2020 I switched to teaching online exclusively and in the summer of 2023 I moved to Poland. Being in a different place didn’t change much in terms of teaching- the online setup is very convenient and I continue meeting with my students from the US online, just as before the move. I stay in constant touch with my friends in the NYC tournament chess scene. If you’re a former student of mine and would like to reconnect or a prospective student curious about the game- please feel free to reach out through the “Contact me” page. I look forward to hearing from you!
